WFencing Learning Pods are back for the upcoming 2025-2026 season!

Learning Pods are a professional development initiative designed to provide ongoing education, mentorship, and peer support for fencing coaches through structured monthly meetings. 
 

A small groups of coaches will gather online to discuss, share videos, offer best practices, and offer each other encouragement and suggestions.  Groups may be for each of the three weapons and, new this season, a parafencing group!  The Learning Pods will meet for 75 minutes over Zoom once monthly from September 2025 through February 2026. Pods are organized and run by WFencing coaches/"Learning Pod graduates" as facilitators supporting the group in this type of collaborative learning. 

 

Cost is $40 for WFencing members, $80 for non-members to register.  Financial support is available for college students just starting their coaching career.
