Vickie Miller has been serving for over 20 years in the non-profit sector. She is currently the proud mother of an NCAA fencing athlete and is heavily involved with the fencing community in Durham, NC.
Jennifer Oldham
Treasurer/Co-Founder
Jennifer is a founding member of WFencing alongside Vinnie Bradford and Iris Zimmerman. She is the Head Coach for the NCAA Division I Men's and Women's Cleveland State team and founder of Forge Fencing Teams, Inc. Jennifer helped pioneer international women's saber fencing works to create resources for domestic and international grassroots growth.
Adeline Chung-Feder

Adeline Chung-Feder is an accomplished small business owner and non-profit volunteer. Adeline started her coaching certification journey at WFencing's Summer Colloquium 2022 and is now a Prévôt in foil. She currently coaches for Nzingha Prescod's PISTE Academy in Brooklyn, NY.
Carissa Hammonds
Vice President
Carissa Hammonds is founder and head coach of Fates Fencing Academy in East Stroudsburg, PA. She began fencing at the Virginia Tech Fencing Club and later started the fencing program at the Pocono Family YMCA. Carissa is also an accomplished swimmer and swim coach.
Kathy Vail
Board Member
Kathy Vail is the head coach and owner of Dunwoody Fencing Club in Dunwoody, Georgia. She is also a leader in the fencing community in high school fencing as the co-founder of the of the Georgia High School Fencing league. A frequent volunteer with USA Fencing, she is the current Region 6 coordinator and a past Spirit of Sport honoree.
Cathleen Randall

Cathleen Randall is a veteran saber fencer and coach. She has been an active voice for women since long before the organization of WFencing. She currently serves Forge Fencing Teams, Inc. in multiple capacities., using her experience as teacher/administrator, instructional technologist, and museum educator.
Taro Yamashita
Secretary
Taro is the Head Fencing coach at Riverside Fencing Club in Massachusetts. He has a philosophy of dedication to the process of improving over chasing short-term results to achieve greater benefit over time.
Christine Griffith
Board Member
Christine Griffith is Assistant Coach at the Air Force Academy after being Head Coach at Cleveland State University. Christine was at the Rochester Fencing Club for 11 years as an Associate Head Coach of the sabre program, and as Head Sabre Coach. In addition, Christine was the Youth Development Coordinator. A saber fencer, Christine competed for Temple University,
Heather Shankwiler
Board Member
Heather Shankwiler is an experienced marketing and IT professional. She is on the board of On Guard High School Fencing League in Atlanta, GA and travels the competitive fencing circuit as a parent-manager.
Richard Weiss
Board Member
Richard Weiss is an active member of the fencing community, perhaps most known for his friendly face at bout committees. A veteran fencer, Rich serves as VA Division chair and on various USA Fencing committees. He brings significant experience in business, non-profits, and technology to the WFencing board.
