NOTICE OF WFENCING ANNUAL MEETING AND BOARD ELECTIONS

WFencing, Inc. is a nonprofit organization committed to uphold the mission of the Olympic dream as it extends to the American professional sport fencing community. We work to achieve diversity, unity and equity among all fencing professionals no matter race, gender, or geographic location in the United States.

WFencing will hold its Annual Meeting on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at 12:00 pm EST via Zoom.

As a member-driven organization, electing strong leadership is an essential member responsibility. WFencing’s Board of Directors represents a diverse group of coaches, fencing professionals, parents, and athletes who believe increasing diversity among fencing professionals to unify Team USA, reduce SafeSport complaints, and increase participation in collegiate and club fencing nationwide are mission critical. Working together with the entire membership, the Board is dedicated to representing the interests of all members and leading WFencing as one voice for the betterment of the USA Fencing community.

The WFencing Nominating and Election Committee has completed the nomination process and will be presenting the slate for vote by the membership by electronic means beginning Tuesday, August 24, 2021. Voting will end on Monday, August 30, 2021 at 5:00 pm EST.

Eligible WFencing members will receive a ballot via email on record. This voting shall take place before the Annual Meeting on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at 12:00 pm EST. The Nominating and Election Committee will verify the election results and shall have the results prepared for release at the Annual Meeting.
