SafeSport Congressional Hearing Wednesday, October 18--POSTPONED

UPDATE 10/18/23: The Congressional Oversight and Investigations Hearing on SafeSport scheduled for Wednesday, October 18th has been postponed. “Timeout: Evaluating Safety Measures Implemented to Protect Athletes.”


The U.S. House Energy and Commerce Committee: Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations will hold a hearing on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. EDT regarding the U.S. Center for SafeSport and Preventing Athlete Abuse.


The committee members will hear testimony from Mana Shim, Chair of the U.S. Soccer Federation Participant Safety Task Force; Ju'Riese Colón, CEO of U.S. Center for SafeSport; Professor Marci Hamilton, CEO Child USA, and Craig Cress, CEO of USA Softball.
